Here’s the final performance timetable for Saturday. So much to choose from! (Open the image in a new tab to get a better view.)
We’ve got another exciting event on offer on 11 January – add a bit of Bollywood magic to your day by attending Aparna’s workshop in the Subs ballroom. No need to book – just turn up and have some fun. Aparna will also be performing at St Laurence church at 10.30 and at the Museum at 3.00.
Well, we pretty much know who’s coming, and we can assure you there will be music, song, dance, mumming and all sorts of things going on during the day around the town – in the George Room, in St Laurence church, in the Five Valleys shopping centre and at the museum. We’ll be publishing a full programme nearer the time, but click here to find out who you can expect to see.
And we’ll have more to delight you at the Revels in the Sub Rooms in the evening. More details to follow.
It’s that nasty Tom Long, highwayman, molester of young women, and all-round baddie. Not to mention his delinquent horse Rosie, who has a bit of a cider problem. Oh yes, and there’s Edwin Budding, lawnmower entrepreneur, looking on. Yes, it’s the Stroud Wassail Mummers in rehearsal. There’s still time to get involved. Contact us.
Here’s a sneak preview of the two designs we’ll be using for the 2020 Wassail souvenir mugs. The artwork is by the amazingly talented Stroud artist Alison Merry of Merry Illuminations. The mugs are still in production at the moment, but we’ll be letting you know how you can get hold of them nearer the time.
